4. Purpose of use of the register

The information in the register is used to manage orders and customer relations. Information will not be forwarded to third parties unless the customer has given permission for this separately. By subscribing to the newsletter, the customer gives permission to send direct marketing letters to the e-mail address in question.

The order and transaction data processed in the register can be used for profiling and targeting marketing measures and customer communications to be of interest to the registrant.

5. Data content of the register

Information related to the processing of sales orders is stored in the online store and/or in the invoicing system. The data of e-shop orders made without logging in is stored just like registered ones. When paying in the store, no credit card or bank information is stored. The information of the payment transaction of the online store is stored in the information systems of Paytrail Oy's iZettle Oy or Sumup Oy or the entities they mediate.

Customer register information: first name, last name, company name, contact information, such as e-mail address, postal address, telephone number. In addition, group information related to the company's industry and payment methods. Marketing authorization.

Information from the sales order register: address and method information related to delivery and invoicing. In addition, products on sales order with prices and order history.

Personal data in the form of sales order history is stored as long as the legal basis for storage is six years as dictated by the Accounting Act, or as long as it is necessary to reserve for handling warranty and claims issues.

The information of those who subscribed to the newsletter is stored in the Mailchimp service.

The public IP address of the visitor to our online store is stored in the Google Analytics and Google AdWords service for marketing targeting.

6. Regular sources of information

Mainly dealing with the customer in the online store, by e-mail, by phone or visiting the store. In addition, the invoicing database, customer management and customer service systems, newsletter usage information, companies and authorities that provide company information.

7. Regular data transfers and data transfer outside the EU or the European Economic Area

Information from the customer register is not disclosed to independent parties for processing. The information is kept in the information systems related to its processing located inside the EU area. Information will only be disclosed to contractual partners if the technical implementation of deliveries and services requires it.

We have ensured that our service providers have joined the so-called to the Privacy Shield program (https://www.privacyshield.gov/list), which aims to ensure the secure processing of European data in the United States.

8. Principles of protection

8.1 Manual material

Manual material is generated in connection with the processing of sales orders in the form of printouts. Materials that require storage are kept in locked rooms. The materials are properly destroyed after the need for processing and the end of the archiving period.

8.2 Electronic material

Data storage and processing takes place over a secure SSL connection.

The use of the register is limited by access rights and, in addition, by personal usernames and passwords. Personal data processors have a duty of confidentiality.

The information contained in the registers can only be accessed and used by the data controller's predefined employees and contractual partners whose job description includes processing the data. These employees and contractual partners are bound by a duty of confidentiality.

Information in electronic form is stored technically protected. The level of information security is audited internally at frequent intervals.

8.3 Online store cookies

To be able to use the online store, your internet browser must have Java Script and Cookie settings activated. Otherwise, for example, registering, logging in and moving the product to the shopping cart is not possible.

This website uses cookies. The site sends a cookie to the browser - a small text file that is stored on the computer's hard drive. Both temporary session ID cookies are used, which close when you close the Internet browser, and permanent cookies, which are stored on the computer's hard drive. With the help of cookies, we can recognize your browser and use the information we get in this way, for example, to count the browsers visiting our site and to analyze the use of our site, such as statistical monitoring. They also allow us to view and track the interests of our users and thus improve our website. All collected information is anonymous, and online activities cannot be linked to a specific person.

We use analytics software provided by a third party (Google Analytics) on our website.

Most Internet browsers accept cookies automatically, but if you wish, you can modify your browser settings and disable cookies at any time. You can avoid cookies by modifying the settings of your browser program and denying their use.

Advertising cookies help us choose the most suitable and interesting ads for you. They also block the display of the same ads. Some third-party vendors may also use cookies or web beacons (1 pixel image file) so that you can see the ads you like when you visit different sites. The information collected using cookies and web trackers does not tell us or third parties any personal information, such as your name or contact information. Third-party advertisers may also use technology to measure the effectiveness of ads. To do this, they can use a tracer (one-pixel GIF file) placed on our website to collect anonymous data. After receiving anonymous information about the user's visits to these and other websites, advertisers can design advertisements for products and services that may be of interest to the user.

This website uses the Google AdWords cookie, which is used to target marketing using a user list in Google's advertising networks. The user cannot be identified based on the information attached to the cookie. The user can opt out of Google AdWords marketing based on user lists at www.google.com/settings/ads.

9. Right to inspect information

The registrant has the right to check the personal information stored in the register and to receive copies of it. Basically, the data check takes place by logging into the online store with your own ID. A more detailed inspection request must be made in writing and addressed to the body responsible for registry matters (see section 2).

10. Correction of information

The controller corrects, deletes or completes personal data in the register that is incorrect, unnecessary, incomplete or out of date in terms of the purpose of the processing on its own initiative or at the request of the data subject. The registered person must contact the entity responsible for the registry affairs of the registrar in writing in order to correct the information (see section 2).

11. Right of prohibition

The registered person has the right to separately prohibit the controller from processing information about him/her for direct advertising, distance sales and other direct marketing as well as market and opinion research. The ban must be made in writing and addressed to the body responsible for registry matters (see section 2).
